Last September 16, residents from the various training institutions attended the 2nd research workshop organized by the Research and Academics Committee of the Philippine College of Emergency Medicine (PCEM). A total of 30 trainees learned about the basic tenets of research protocol development. During the workshop, the doctors discussed their research topics with facilitators.
The activity, organized in cooperation with the St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC), Department of Emergency Medicine and the Research and Biotechnology Division of SLMC QC also provided important information on good clinical practice during the conduct of a research project.
The training course was aimed at improving the research projects of residents in emergency medicine.
