Dear Fellow Colleagues and Friends, On behalf of the Society for Emergency Medicine in Singapore (SEMS), Resuscitation Council of Asia (RCA) and SingHealth, we are honoured to invite you to our SEMS Annual Scientific Meeting / International Resuscitation Science Symposium (SEMS I-ReSS) of 2016, which will be held on the 27th and 28th of February 2016, at The Academia at Singapore General Hospital. With the hosting of the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) on the 25th and 26th February 2016 in Singapore for their annual Business and Taskforce meetings, we will also be organizing the SEMS I-ReSS – the first international gathering of global and regional experts in Resuscitation Science following the publication of the CoSTR, outside of US and Europe. ILCOR was founded in 1992 to provide a global forum for discussion and coordination among principal Resuscitation Organisations, such as the American Heart Association, the European Resuscitation Council, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC), Australian and New Zealand Committee on Resuscitation, Resuscitation Councils of Southern Africa, Inter-American Heart Foundation and the Resuscitation Council of Asia. ILCOR will be publishing a new International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC) Science and Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) in October 2015.
